Dr. Eric Asiedu Twum is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Green Growth Solutions-a policy think tank which champions Green Growth policies including Climate Change. He is also a Lecturer at the Department of Environment and Development, Central University College (CUC). He has over ten years experience in business, research and academia.

Dr. Eric Twum completed his PhD in Politics with emphasis on Environmental and Public Policy at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. He specialized in comparative development, political and environmental policies in developing and developed countries. In addition, he has an MSc in Environmental and Resources Management from Brandenburgshe Technische Universitat Cottbus, Germany after obtaining a BSc in Renewable Natural Resources Management. Dr. Eric Asiedu Twum also has a certificate in Health and Safety at the Workplace from the Chartered Institute of Health, United Kingdom.

He is a strong advocate of sustainable development and lectures in Framework for Environmental Management, Environmental Policy Development and Corporate Sustainability Management with emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Law at CUC. He previously worked with the Environmental Protection Agency as Assistant Programmes Officer working on climate change, mining, environmental impact assessment, evaluation of applications for environmental permits and licensing as well as site investigation. Eric has also worked in the Waste Management and Recycling division of the London Borough of Waltham Forest where he was involved in research, education and promotion of waste management and recycling.

He is knowledgeable in business management with expertise in Auditing and Assurance, Business Law and Financial Accounting from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants. Dr. Eric Twum is an Advisory Board Member for The Simsons Foundation and a member of Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

Dr. Eric Twum's work has been published in peer reviewed journals in the area of environmental assurance, environmental financial assurance policy, policy analysis, corporate social responsibility.
