Mr. Isaac Augustus Antwi

Chief Isaac Augustus Antwi is the Chief Executive Officer of Summit Industries Limited – producers of the natural mineral water – Le Country. He has over 30 years working experience in the Food and Beverage industry holding various senior level positions. Prominent amongst these were his roles as General Manager of Nurevas Food Ghana Limited – a subsidiary of Nurevas Food International based in Switzerland (2015-2017); Technical Operations Manager of The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana (2005 -2008); Plant Director for the Coca-Cola operations in Kumasi and the Northern sector of Ghana in addition to the position he held as Public Affairs and Communications Director (2009 - 2015).
Furthermore, Isaac Antwi served with Ghana Breweries Ltd in various managerial positions for 11 years (1989 -2000) and later as expatriate staff in Nigeria (2001-2005) where he held various positions as Projects Manager and Master Brewer to the highest Brewery Manager (General Manager) at Nigeria Breweries Plc (a subsidiary of Heineken Breweries BV). He also worked as Projects consultant with the Heineken Breweries in Bangkok, Thailand and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam in 2004-2005. He was also the Technical Integration Manager during the merger of Ghana Breweries Limited and Guinness Ghana Limited. As a BrewMaster, he was driven by his passion for excellence in leadership wherever he found himself.
Between 2009 and 2020 Isaac has represented the face of corporate bodies in a number of associations and committees in Ghana. Notably he served on the American Chamber of Commerce, Ghana Employers Association, Institute of Public Relations, Swiss Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Ghana Industries and membership of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Association. In 2017, he was a consultant to the State Enterprises Commission where he had the opportunity to review several performance contracts of State Enterprises in Ghana.
Isaac Antwi through his career has acquired diverse skills in corporate governance, leadership and management that he currently brings to bear on his role as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Kokofu Nursing and Midwifery Training College of the Ministry of Health-Ghana.
Isaac holds a BSc. (Hons) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ghana, and a postgraduate diploma in Brewing Science and Management from the Doemens Institute in Munich, Germany. He is also a Certified Auditor (Quality and Environment) and a Business Investment Analyst. He was recently awarded Fellowship recognition by the Chartered Institute of Financial and Investments Analysts Ghana (CIFIAG).
